The function of a diaphragm seal is to
prevent the fluid from coming into direct contact with the instrument. This
prevents the instrument from being damaged by obstruction or erosion caused by
corrosive, dirty, viscous, or crystallizing fluids or gases.
DS200 series is a double-flange type where
the diaphragm is located on the upper flange. The diaphragm size is not
affected by the size of process connection flange, making it more suitable for
low-pressure ranges.
